I am a woman who works 6 days a week. My husband is too lazy too find work for the past 3 years. No ambition, no self esteem. He spends more time with my daughther. He has treathened to kill me if I leave with our daughther.
The result is that he has a strong bond with my daughther. I don't because I have to work long hours and sometimes away from home. He has assaulted me. The SAPS can not find my house when I phone. I fear for my life if i start divorce proceedings. I fear losing my dauhther to this lazy husband who assaulted me, who manipulates my daughther etc.

firstly contact POWA at
011 642 4345/6 . They will help you or put you in touch with the people who can help you to get safely away from him WITH your daughter. He is physically and mentally abusing you. As soon as you are out (your family will help you I am sure) you must get a restraining order. Thereafter you file for divorce. The abuse and manipulation you have suffered is more than good enough reason to file for divorce. It may take time or even two ir three years. But free yourself and in the long run for your daughter as well. You can do it, you must WANT to do it.
